Crock-pot Beef-corn Chowder

- 2 lb ground beef shopping list
- 1 c chopped onion shopping list
- 6 c bite-sized waxy potatoes shopping list
- 1 can 17oz creamed corn shopping list
- 1 can 17oz whole kernel corn shopping list
- 28 oz beef broth AND shopping list
- 4 tsp beef broth granules OR shopping list
- 4 cubes beef broth shopping list
- 2 tsp salt shopping list
- ½ tsp dried basil, crushed shopping list
- ½ tsp black pepper shopping list
- 8 oz white mushrooms, halved shopping list
- 8 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Brown beef and onion in a saute pan over medium heat; drain.
- Add to crock-pot.
- Combine all other ingredients with beef and onion mixture except the cheese. Stir.
- Cover, cook on HI-heat setting for 3 to 4 hours. Stir before serving.
- Adjust seasonings as necessary. Pass cheese to sprinkle on top.
