- 1 pound beef, cut in 1 inch cubes shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups boiling water shopping list
- 1 chopped onion shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika shopping list
- dash of allspice shopping list
- 1 teaspoon sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup tomato juice shopping list
- 1 cup sliced carrots shopping list
- 1 cup potatoes, cubed shopping list
- 1 cup diced celery shopping list
How to make it
- Brown meat in hot fat. Add hot water, onion, lemon juice, seasonings and tomato juice; simmer for 2 hours. Add more water, if needed. Add vegetables, cook until tender.
