How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350' In 8' square cake pan,whisk together the flour,sugar,cocoa,baking soda and salt. Make a well in the center of the mixture.
  • Into the well,add oil,vanilla,vinegar and cold water. Whisk till well combined. Bake 35-40 mins(35 min in my oven),or till toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack before frosting.
  • When you don't know what to have for dessert,this is a great cake.All the ingredients should be in the pantry...

    It has a whole cup of sugar in it but doesn't taste all that sweet. Nice flavor. Tried to duplicate your pic. Cut mine while still hot so it looks a little jagged.
