Peanut Butter Blondies

Kids love these and so do adults. Simple and Delicious
Ingredients
- 2 c flour shopping list
- 1-1/2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 c shortening shopping list
- 1 c peanut butter shopping list
- 1 lb. packed brown sugar shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 Tbs vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/4 c chopped peanuts shopping list
- Frosting: shopping list
- 1 lb confectioners sugar shopping list
- 1/2 c peanut butter shopping list
- 1/2 c shortening shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 1/3 c hot water shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 350 degrees.Coat two 13x9" baking pans with coking spray.
- In a bowl,beat shortening,peanut butter and brown sugar on med-high for 3 mins. Add eggs;beat 3 mins more. Add vanila.
- On low speed,beat in flour mixture. Stir in peanuts.
- Divide batter between prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 mins or till lightly browned. Let cool slightly.
- Frosting: Beat confectioners sugar,peanut butter,shortening,salt and vanilla. Add hot water a little at a time. Beat until smooth. Spread over blondies while still warm.
