I am delighted to announce that, thanks to all of you, I was announced as the Shabby Apple Dare to Design Winner! Which means that if you liked the Lawn Frock you will be able to purchase it this coming spring!I'm 'officially' a designer:)
I don't know what comes next. But I will try to keep you updated as the process continues.
Before I sign off on this post I want to thank all of you of course, my friend/model Abi, Brian who tolerated my mood swings and Shabby Apple for holding such a fabulous contest and offering such fabulous clothing!

Congratulations! You deserve the win and I am so inspired by your blog. I'm not at all surprised you won since that Lawn Frock is awesome and because you made it instead of just drawing it, it was easy for people to look at and 'see' themselves wearing it. Great job!
In fact, I lost the apron pattern I've been using and loving for months (it's somewhere in the Christmas sewing but I can't find it) but, thanks to you, I figured I could design up my own. It's just an apron afterall, how hard could it be?
I did it~! My newest apron turned out so cute and I did the pattern all on my own. It has all the features of the one I loved and a few touches that are all me. Thank you for helping me DARE to try my own little design excursion.
