I do not hide the fact that I am a tech junkie. I love having the newest gadget and techie toys and slowly but surely that's rubbing off on my husband as well. One of my biggest vices is sweets - I have a serious sweet tooth. Chocolate is hands down my favorite treat. No that's not true. Chocolate is my favorite food. Period. I am in no way exaggerating when I tell you that these are the best chocolate covered strawberries that I have ever had. The strawberries inside were fresh and crisp and the chocolate on the outside was rich and crunchy.

I also ordered a a 4-pack of hand-dipped caramel apples. It has been years since I have eaten a caramel apple while walking the Jersey Shore boardwalk so this was a nice treat for myself. And yes, I did keep all of these goodies for myself. I earned it. The apple shown below, is dipped in caramel and then white chocolate. Wow is really the first word that comes to mind to describe it.

Personalized Gifts for Everyone at Personal Creations

I sort of have a love/hate relationship with gift shopping. I love shopping for my family however sometimes I struggle with finding that perfect gift. Sometimes this leads me to going round and round in circles, which takes some of the fun out of it. My husband tends to be one of the more difficult people to shop for because he is constantly telling me not to get him anything. Which is just unacceptable. With just a little over two months left until Christmas, it's time to start getting your holiday shopping underway. I know there are overachievers out there who are already done, but there are plenty of us who have yet to start. And now that I just freaked myself out by realizing I have just over 60 days, I need to get cracking. One of my favorite online stores to browse and shop for unique gifts is Red Envelope.

Yes, leave it to me to find the lone Star Wars gift on there which would be an awesome gift for a guy. I opted to use this review opportunity to get something for myself though. A few years ago, my brother and sister-in-law brought me back a beautiful Murano glass bracelet from Italy. When I saw that Red Envelope has some Murano glass jewelry, I immediately knew that was what I was getting.

This murano glass beads bracelet is made in Murano, Italy and features three spring-wire bangles with glass pearls, Swarovski crystals and hand-blown Murano glass balls. It is available in two color sets which is which is great since many people prefer gold over silver or vice versa. The gold-colored bracelet features iridescent tones of gold, amber and aqua while the silver-colored bracelet features iridescent tones of plum, rose and light blue. For myself I chose the silver since I do not where any yellow gold toned jewelry.

The bracelet set arrived in a pretty red box with a soft felt envelope inside to protect it. The box is great if you are giving this as a gift to someone: just place it in a gift bag and you are good to go. I fell in love with this bracelet immediately. I love the colors and the simple elegance of the bracelet. It is not to flashy or overwhelming. Since this is made of three individual bangles, there are several different ways to wear the bracelet. My favorite is to intertwine them together so they look like one bracelet. But you could also arrange them individually on your wrist or even wear just one at a time.

MOC Eco-Friendly Gift Tags

One of my pet peeves lately is greeting cards. I just cannot seem to eliminate them from my life. My husband and I have agreed to no longer exchange cards with each other and this means no cards for the kids birthdays either. To me, it is just a waste of money and paper. However, I still feel obligated to give others cards. Particularly nieces and nephews. What to do?

Last week I was introduced to a company that has a way to help. I love finding new eco-friendly products so I am really happy to share this one with you. Finally a way to cut out those bulky, pricey greeting cards.
