- Some information you submit — like your email addresses, phone numbers, and SSN — will be verified before they are added to your monitoring profile. This verification process makes sure that we're monitoring the right information for you and that no one else can add it to their profile. Learn more about how Google handles this information.
- Your phone number or email address is only added to your monitoring profile after you verify it’s yours with a one-time verification code sent to your number or address. Your Social Security Number is only added after the number is cross-checked and verified against other identity information you provide to us.
- The email address that you use to sign in to Google One is included in your profile as part of the service. If you no longer want to monitor your email address, you can disable monitoring by deleting your profile in the dark web report settings.
- If you add a phone number to your monitoring profile, it will show up in your Google Account as a phone number being used by Google One. You can delete your phone number directly from the monitoring profile.
- If you disable monitoring by deleting your profile, your Social Security Number, along with your name and address provided during the verification process, will be removed from your payments profile unless you provided it for another Google service.
