July 2024 Update Still so terrible. Removed the option to clear playlists. Queue limited to 100 songs. Search function is close to useless. App cannot keep up with playback so after 3-5 songs the speaker is playing a song and the app is showing a previous song. Hardware is amazing, software is so terrible that we will not consider buying another sonos product until the software improves. I'm using android, my wife apple and the app sucks on both.

I didn't think they could make the app worse but they exceeded my expectations. Finally had to update the app on main phone. Now it won't load and crashes every single time. Favorite stations are now arrange by when they were added. No apparent way to rearrange based upon name nor way to rename. Music queue only lists the track name and not the artist. The options to Clear, Edit, Save the queue are Gone.

The new app is simply not fit for purpose. My use case is very straightforward. I simply want to browse my local library, add songs to a queue, and play them. With the old app that was easy and reliable. With the new app, it is next to impossible. Song selection is slow, unreliable 'something went wrong', with no queue, and frequent skips and drop outs. The Sonos help appears to assume that the problems stem from my WiFi. However, my WiFi setup worked flawlessly every time with the old app.
