After 5 years they've finally made it easier to see what shows you can continue watching and what episode it's up to. It's still slow, disconnects my phone which requires me to use google home to control volume, play/pause. It's slow to load, blasts the startup sound no matter how low the volume on the TV or Chrome Cast is, it crashes randomly. It should not be this bad for a company like Disney. They have infinite money and can't be bothered to make a functional app

Great content but poor app experience. It's so glitchy and slow. It frequently hangs and has to pause a couple of minutes when want to playback. Streaming is slow and downloads are temperamental. Often tells you it can't download, try later. Compared to Prime Video and Neflix the user experience is definitely inferior. I'm only persevering because of the great films and series... when I can them downloaded. I probably won't continue with the subscription long term if they don't sort it soon.

Perfectly usable streaming app. Some annoying gimmicks though: the rewind 10 seconds button rarely works when casting a show via chromecast, and the "you can skip intro" message across the bottom of the screen when casting doesn't go away the entire intro, blocking out subtitles (which is a pain when watching something like Shōgun). I don't usually skip intros; can you please have that message on a timer or not at all?
