Bulletstorm Questions & Answers

Here are some commonly asked questions in Bulletstorm. If there are issues not covered on this page, feel free to e-mail IGN.

Common Questions & Answers

Is there a way to play with unlocked weapons in campaign?
Weapons in Bulletstorm is linked to the campaign (and to the stages in Echoes mode, as they'd appear in campaign). So, until you reach a dropkit with a weapon unlock (and its charge mode), you will not be able to deploy it.
I have buy ammo? That's dumb.
Skillshots are used as currency for logisitics replenishment (as explained in the game). If you are experiencing difficulties with the skillshot system, you can play on an easier difficulty setting to incur lower costs for all purchases (you will also be tougher than normal).
I can't do XX / YY skillshot. It's hard!
Some skillshots are difficult to do (unless you are in Anarchy mode). Anarchy mode and campaign have different skillshots, but with more people (co-op) you can achieve some of the Anarchy mode skillshots with ease. IGN will focus on campaign skillshots, otherwise, you'll be alone in your endeavor.
If I run out of ammo, am I screwed?
Generally no, as you will have a decent account of skillpoints for ammunition, in addition to the ammunition boxes in objective-critical areas (like a boss fight), the environmental kills you perform will allow you purchase small amounts of ammunition. Lastly, the PMC (Peacemaker) is used by nearly half the enemies in the game, so you will not be short on basic rifle ammunition.
Is there a point to Echoes mode?
It's there primarily for scoring -- much like the speed runs from Mirror's Edge.
What the d—?
At least you're not killing one at similar party.
I'm stuck at ___________.
If the game glitches, and you wind up stuck, try restarting the checkpoint. For the most part, a full-install will solve the streaming issues that hang up players on various parts of a map or level.
