We love info porn here at GameSpy, and Bungie has released a veritable centerfold of stats from Halo: Reach with some eye-popping data, most notably: more than 1.3 billion Reach matches have been played and 33 billion kills have been racked up in 24,000 years worth of gaming.

On its Halo: Reach blog, Bungie revealed all of the stats gamers have accumulated from September 14 to December 10. In doing so, the developer discovered the weapon of choice (the DMR with 2.6 billion kills), players' penchant for assassinations (215 million -- 15 million more than standard beatdowns), and an impressive bit of skill (2.7 billion headshots).

Sharkey says: The biggest number for me is the number of Spartans that have earned the Unf-believable Medal by mowing down 40 players without a single death: 320,000. That's just insane. I'm lucky to take out two bad guys before dying in Reach's multiplayer.
