Now that Thanksgiving is out of the way, we can all set our sights on the upcoming seasonal holiday in December. And what better way to enter into the spirit of charity to others, wellbeing and all that guff than with a taste of EA's hellish action game Dante's Inferno. A demo for the PlayStation 3 will hit the PSN on December 10th while Xbox 360 players have to hang on until December 24th.
Dante's Inferno takes gamers on a quest through hell, in an action-packed adaptation of part one of Dante Alighieri's epic poem, The Divine Comedy. The 'Gates of Hell' demo includes the entire opening level and gives gamers a taste of the terrifying odyssey to come in the Nine Circles of Hell as depicted in the full game.
Visceral Games' retail release is still on target to hit the streets on February 9th of next year. Time to sharpen those demon-slaying blades...

Go to Hell.

Bryn says: This is definite download for me. I'm very impressed with what I've seen and played of the game so far, and despite the obvious similarities to the God of War franchise, Dante's Inferno should totally have enough of its own good stuff to make it a worthy game.
