Over the weekend Microsoft quietly slipped out a demo of one of the most anticipated games of the year, BioShock. Clocking in at a hefty 1.3GB, this demo gives you a taste of the first opening minutes of Irrational's newest title, starting off with a plane crash and your discovery of a tower in the middle of the ocean. After a ride in a bathysphere you'll find yourself in the city of Rapture fighting for your life.
The demo is not terribly long, but it definitely gives you an good idea of how beautiful and creepy BioShock is. The action will pick up right away and it won't be long before you find yourself taking out guys with a big wrench and using plasmids to give yourself an upper hand over the competition. This small taste of BioShock is fantastic and a must-download for any Xbox 360 owner. The full game is scheduled to hit retail shelves on August 21.
