Activision Blizzard's recent earnings call stated that the publisher will release three new gaming properties in 2009. The first revealed was Radical's Prototype, coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The second title was identified as the new sci-fi shooter Singularity from Raven Software, while the third yet-to-be-named project will come from Project Gotham Racing developer Bizarre Creations.

While it's likely that Bizarre's new game will indeed follow in the developer's legacy in the racing game genre, no specific details were made available during the call. All three of these titles are said to be pegged for release this year.

Confirmed: releasing in 2009

Bryn says: We know a fair bit about Prototype already. We know much less about Singularity but I'm thinking that E3 will shed some more light on Raven's latest, if not some Activision Blizzard press event before then.

The big unknown is what Bizarre is up to. Its pedigree in the racing genre (let's also not forget about Geometry Wars) is not in question, so it seems like a natural fit that the new untitled game will fit nicely into that particular genre.
