May I Have the Envelope, Please

This is the part wherein I pass out the immaterial awards for meritorious or heinous conduct. I'm sure you are all used to the fact that I don't keep any sort of track of what really happened by now, so I'll dispense with that pretense. Without further lies designed to get you to not care about my shoddy scorekeeping, I give you the awards from our Team Fortress 2 'Spy-Hunter #14:

Best genuine spy: DJ Stymie ATL
Most likely to put a sniper round in the back of a teammate's head: GSI Joynt (again!)
Best "from the hip" sniper: Isoldae
Best straight-up sniper: SJCHS Ghost
Best medic: GabeSpy
Best heavy weapons guy: Sheepy666
Least likely to understand the relationship between water and flame throwers: GSI Joynt
Most likely to get sucked up to mid-game: Sheepy666 (he's our boss, hehe)
Most Shamefully Craven: Sterling (every time)

Please take a moment to mentally congratulate these fine (and not-so-fine) fellows on a job well done. They have all demonstrated particular valor on the digital battlefield and should be remembered in the annals of heroism. Thanks go to all for a good game.

The Road Ahead Leads Back to Halo 3

We're going to continue with this new 'Spy-Hunter schedule, so our next match will take place at 4 p.m. PST on Wednesday, October 31, which you're all aware is Halloween. As a result of a recent misspelling in an email received from our darling Associate PC Editor Allen Rausch, I'm calling for this Halloween to be "Haloween!" Consequently, we're going back to Halo 3 in an effort to regain some of the integrity and self-esteem that we threw in the trash for Team Fortress 2. If you would like to participate in these festivities, just keep reading because the instructions are coming up right now:

Shoot a friend request to one of the following GameSpy editors:

Gabe Graziani: GabeSpy
Sterling McGarvey: GSI_Sterling_M
Patrick Joynt: GSIJoynt

On game day sign on and look for the editor that you have befriended. Once you've got a bead on one of us, shoot us a message and we'll invite you to the game on a first come first served basis. Sound simple? It is… at least, for you anyway.
