Like Ozzy Osborne singing "Take me out to the Ballgame," some things just aren't meant to be heard. Today Kotaku is reporting that the equally legacy-shattering video of Kurt Cobain's avatar singing to various bands in Guitar Hero 5 has been removed from YouTube, courtesy of Activision.

In addition to taking down the video, the YouTube user who posted the video, corporalgregg3, also had his account permanently removed. He's since created another YouTube alias, and now only hosts videos for Rock Band (oh snap!). Read More »

Bon Jovi Passed on Guitar Hero 5 Avatar

Bon Jovi disclosed to the BBC that he turned down a chance to appear in Guitar Hero 5 (via 1UP). Jovi also pointed out that when he was offered the deal, no one mentioned that if he took it, his avatar would be singing other band's songs.
