Activision Blizzard's recent release of the well-received Guitar Hero 5 might be in for a little bit of a bad time if a Hollywood gossip blog is to be believed. The Perez Hilton blog (via Eurogamer) picked up on a phenomenal rant carried out by the late Kurt Cobain's wife, Courtney Love.
"For the record this Guitar Hero shit is breach of contract on a Bullys part and there will be a proper addressing of this and retraction," she tweeted. "WE are going to sue the shit out of ACtivision we being the Trust the Estate the LLC the various LLCs Cobain Enterprises."
This quote comes directly from Love's Twitter feed and is some kind of response to the fact that Cobain's Guitar Hero 5 avatar can be used to sing non-Nirvana songs. It remains to be seen just how this will be handled, but one thing's for sure -- we're heading off to play "You Give Love a Bad Name" with our Kurt avatar right now.

Poor Kurt.

Bryn says: Oh my. Two things from me. It's pretty tasteless to have dead artists perform in games like this anyway. Next, please spend a few moments to read Ms. Love's Twitter feed. Now, I must apologize for that -- you'll never get those precious seconds of your life back.
