Dead Space 2 Review

PS3 Reviews | Feb 3, 2011

Dead Space 2 is quite possibly the most intense game I've ever played.

I've wracked my brain trying to think of another game that quite literally had me on the edge of my seat (OK, couch cushion) the way Visceral's horrific sequel did, and I've yet to come up with any worthy candidates. Visceral Games Announces Dead Space 2 Fatality Contest

PS3 News | Mar 9, 2010

Isaac got nasty with his plasma cutter in EA and Visceral's 2008 survival horror game Dead Space, practicing the title's much-touted strategic dismemberment on unrelenting Necromorphs with sadistic artistry. But the engineer's melee kills, chiefly a boot to the dome, were comparatively tame. The team at Visceral wants to change that in Dead Space 2, and they want your help. Read More »

Titan Mines, for example, is a timed map where the Humans are trapped and must acquire three components to build a Shockmine that will stop the outbreak and help them getaway. In the Escape map, an all-out bloodfest is occurring as the Humans need to get through the onslaught of Necromorphs in order to escape via the escape pods.
