Ubisoft has completed development on the PlayStation 2 versions of its popular stealth action game, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora. The PS2 version will sneak into retail on or around June 18th with a retail price of $49.99 and an ESRB rating of "T" for Teen. Pandora Tomorrow unfurls the latest story involving Sam Fisher as he embarks on a whole new series covert operations around the globe.
Pandora Tomorrow for the PS2 features all the same content as the Xbox version and brings some new features to the table including an exclusive Indonesian Jungle Mission, post-mission statistics and scoring (complete feedback on just about every action taken during the mission including shots fired, number of enemies eliminated, and total time), alternate paths for missions that have already completed (returning to a completed mission gives players alternate routes to take), Booby Trap Gameplay (players can disable explosive devices using tools similar to the ones used for lock picking), USB headset support (in-mission briefings a and radio chatter is served up to the headset), and support for dynamic lighting in multiplayer (The ARGUS mercenaries' torchlight in the multiplayer). Look for the game to hit retail later this month.
