According to a report posted on Gamespot.com, Aruze is currently developing the latest volume of its Shadow Hearts series.
Dubbed Shadow Hearts: From the New World, the new title will have a new cast of characters and will take place in America, 14 years after the events of Covenant
The main character of From the New World is Johnny Garland, a teenager who lost his family and suffers amnesia. Garland works as a New York detective and the game begins after he witnesses a supernatural event during his pursuit of a suspect. A Native American warrior named Shania will be accompanying Garland through his journey that starts in New York as he makes his way across the country visiting Chicago and the Grand Canyon on his way.
Shadow Hearts: From the New World is set to be released in Japan this summer.
