Remember when your parents used to promise to take you to Disneyland if you were good? Whether you were actually well-behaved enough to have made it there is irrelevant now, because the Frontierland part of it has apparently shriveled and manifested itself in Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two as Fort Wasteland, as this new gameplay trailer shows.

I know that Wasteland is supposed to be, well, wasted, but Epic Mickey 2's fun aesthetic gives it quite a darkly compelling feel -- I'm reminded a bit of Alice: Madness Returns, both for its platforming and for its portrayal of a dying Wonderland.

The voice-acting is a little cheesy here, but the mousey bouncing and paint-hurling gameplay is looking like it might be fun, especially if you have a friend to take on Oswald's role for co-op. While the first Epic Mickey game was a Wii exclusive, the series is now coming to PC, and with any luck we'll have it this November 18th.
