In the Style Savvy: Trendsetters game, you take on the role of a budding fashion mogul, working your way to the top of the fashion world! Manage your own boutique and help customers find the perfect outfit by keeping up with fashion trends, stocking new clothes for your store, and customizing your shop to reflect your personality.
Choose from over 12,000 clothing items and accessories spanning 19 different brands to put together dream-come-true ensembles for hundreds of customers. Share your creations with friends who have the game through an online shopping portal, download additional outfits online, and discover an AR Photo Shoot mode that virtually puts your outfits into the real world!

- The main challenge in Style Savvy: Trendsetters is to figure out each customer’s taste and select items from an expansive virtual inventory to satisfy his or hers unique sense of style. The happier customers are, the more likely they’ll be to request more outfits and boost players’ sales.
- Players can choose from more than 12,000 clothing items and accessories to stock their stores. The game’s built-in variety of brands and clothing lines represent a vibrant array of fashion tastes and trends, from the Asian-inspired Kanokoi to the preppy Harlow Heights to the Goth-style Raven Candle. Additional brands and items are available to download from the Nintendo eShop at no added cost (wireless Internet access required).
- In addition to hand-selecting their inventory, players can customize the look of their shop’s interior and exterior, decorate their in-game apartment and coordinate their hair and makeup to match their outfits.
- Building on the fun of the original Style Savvy, Style Savvy: Trendsetters introduces elements such as bags and purses, an in-game photo studio and the addition of male customers and menswear. Players can also use the AR Photo Shoot feature to create images that blend characters, motions and music from the game with real-world surroundings.
- Style Savvy also lets players connect with their friends and other fashionistas around the world. An online shopping portal called Fashion Plaza lets players visit and shop at the boutiques of other players from North America and Europe. Players can also use the built-in StreetPass feature to exchange Profile Cards with other players. Each time players encounter each other via StreetPass, they will have the opportunity to coordinate an outfit based on the criteria listed on the Profile Cards. Also, up to four players can collaborate on a full-on virtual fashion show via local wireless connection.
