Originally planned for release on GameCube, the Surreal-developed game based on the literary works of J.R.R. Tolkien was cancelled and only released on PlayStation 2 and PC. A different game appeared on Xbox under the same title (and from the same publisher). Not to be confused with the Electronics Arts Lord of the Rings games, which appeared on GameCube.
