Surreal Software

Surreal is Washington-based videogame design studio. The studio's first game, Drakan, garnered a number of awards and received critical acclaim. From there, the studio developed a Drakan sequel for Sony Computer Entertainment, then started a relationship with Midway Games (with projects including The Suffering and This is Vegas) that eventually led to the team being acquired by Midway in 2004. When Midway hit on hard financial times, Surreal was acquired by Warner Bros Interactive in 2009 to become part of the WB Interactive studio structure.
