July 3, 2009 Friday - Dinner in Fernie
July 3, 2009 - Downtown Fernie, BC
July 4, 2009, Saturday - Ron and I went to the Jaffray Post Office so he could get his package from DELL (A battery for his PC), On the way there, I saw a van that must have hit a large animal - perhaps an elk or something.
July 4, 2009, Saturday - I asked Ron to take me to the Tai Lake and Rosen Lake which were within the local area.
July 4, 2009, Saturday. Tai Lake. It had a reasonable parking area for the public, about 4 picnic tables. There were plenty of huge private homes all around the lake. You can tell, that people who have built there homes around the lake have lots of money. It did not seem to be a fun place. I was quite disappointed. It lacked that peaceful, quiet, sunny and bright feeling. I know of one lake that had a lot of that - It was Wasa Lake. Tai Lake and Rosen Lake just didn't do anything for me. It felt as if people who lived there actually didn't want outsiders coming in. You can almost feel it in the air. I didn't like both Lakes.
Found this dog relaxing at Tai Lake. Cute.
July 4, 2009 - Saturday. Having beer and Chips at the deck. Nice and warm today. That ashtray looks awful. It's been cleaned since.
July 4, 2009, Saturday - To keep the mosquitoes away.
July 21, 2009 - Tuesday. Yesterday, Ron wasn't able to go to work because of extreme pain on his left shoulder and arm so he had to take time off work. This morning, he couldn't sleep from the aches and pains at 5:00 AM , so I suggested we go out for a walk (we've never had early morning walks in Elko before). These were some photos I took that morning.
July 21, 2009 - Tuesday. The Railways of Elko at 5:15 AM
July 21, 2009 - Tuesday.
I was very happy that morning. The lighting was just perfect! It felt like early morning in the Philippines. Plus it wasn't even cold outside! It felt like an early morning in Baguio, Philippines where I grew up.
We even got to watch the Train pass by.
Ron thinks that these flowers may be classified as "Invasive" - not natural to the region.
The Rockies on our early morning walk.
Good Morning World!
Daisies just getting ready to spread their petals. Wake up Daisies!
Fresh Air, Nice and quiet. I love mornings like this.
I decided to take a photo of my "Enchanted" ring in the forest. hahah.
That walk took us 2 hours. It was a wonderful way to start the day.
Foxy seems very happy too!
The view we see from the dirt road is the main highway.
July 22, 2009 Wednesday in Fernie, BC. Zooming in on "The Three Sisters" Mountain from the man-made lake on a really hot summer day!
July 21, 2009 - Tuesday. Today, I have been alive in this world for 12,303 days. It doesn't seem that much but I feel I have lived so much more. Thank you God.

July 27, 2009 Monday. We had a rainstorm that afternoon, and a storm of heavy hail. I took this photo in a local restaurant in Fernie. You see the hail?
After the storm, after the rain comes the rainbow! So Happy!

August 1, 2009 Saturday. Ron and I had been looking for a Futon Sofa-bed, and looking at other things I needed for my small rental room in Cranbrook, coming this September. School starts in a Month! OMG!
July 31, 2009 Friday - I asked Ron to take this shot for me, as I noticed the natural lighting was reflecting beautifully on the bricks.
A monument for fallen soldiers. This monument can be found in front of the Fernie City hall.
