And today, I will paint my 2nd painting.

I love yellow

Mixing colors. Interesting. I am learning new things as I go.

 Memory of a place and time - Rabbit Mountain, Elko, British columbia - a beautiful place.

Now I have done two paintings in my life.

This is really how I wanted the painting cropped.  Painting is a wonderful thing.

A third painting was also inspired. "Life is about creating you". It did not turn out how I wanted it, but It makes me happy anyways.  I learned something today. This hobby is turning out to be fun. It makes me smile.

Decided today I would paint. I have never painted before. I always wanted to do it. So I thought to not even think about it. Just do it. So off I was - bought the materials. Gone home and just did it - no fears. No rules but my own. 

I was surprised at how  the painting process got me so fully engaged. the colours, the textures, the brush strokes. It was driven by inspiration.

The painting created itself. I just let my hands glide. The brush leading the way and my feelings united with this moment in time.

And finally. My very first painting. it reminds me of the flowers that my mother used to grow when I was a child.  I feel good. I feel happy.  Today i did something. It totally surprised me.
