This 1977 Ford Escort Driven by Colin McRae Will Be Auctioned
This 1977 Ford Escort MK2 RS1800 built by Prepfab Motorsport Engineering and driven by rallying legend Colin McRae will be auctioned next February at the Race Retro by Silvestrone Auctions event. The car participated in various historic rallying events including the Colin McRae Memorial Rally. Back in 2009, it was completely rebuilt and took part in another couple of events.
The rally car is expected to raise between £65,000 and £85,000 when it goes on sale in two months. Pretty nice piece of history. You will find more details about the car and the event in the attached press release.

Galpin's Track Focused 2015 Mustang Gets Rendered
This is not a Liberty Walk body kit for the 2015 Ford Mustang, it's actually a rendering revealed by Galpin Auto Sport to illustrate what a track focused version of the new Stang would look like. But it makes us think about something similar from Liberty Walk Performance like this fan made Ferrari F12 rendering released weeks ago...
Mustang Mach 1 Rendered based on the 2015 Mustang
Based on the first official pictures, rendering artist David Kiss imagined a Mach 1 version of the 2015 Mustang for Top Speed. And while some people found the 2015 Mustang too soft for a muscle car, I don't think anyone is going to complain about the looks of this one. Even though a Mach 1 version is just a rumor, the guys at Top Speed suggest that it would slot between the Mustang GT variant and any upcoming Shelby edition.
Here are the renderings and the original pictures if you'd like to play the differences game.

2015 Mustang: Official Pictures and More Details
The long awaited 2015 Mustang is finally here and it's all new! A new independent rear suspension, a new four cylinder EcoBoost engine and a totally different styling. As the official unveiling is just hours ahead, we have learned a lot more about the new Pony car!
Engine options:
First of all, the 2015 Mustang will keep the 3.7-liter V6 while the GT variant will also keep the 5.0-liter Coyote engine. According to Ford, both engines will be more powerful than their 2014 equivalents. The big news though, is the new 2.3-liter EcoBoost four cylinder turbocharged engine that might produce as much as 305 Hp and 300 lb ft (406 Nom of torque).
Handling:
When it comes to the suspension, it's a very big debate. There is no wonder that the new independent rear suspension will offer a better handling. But hardcore fans of the Mustang would argue that the car would have changed a lot and might loose its soul. But maybe it's time to move on. Performance figures are yet to be announced so be patient!
Styling:
Some people might argue that the new Mustang looks no longer like a muscle car. Well I have to disagree. The new Mustang dares to be different but the main character lines that define a proper Mustang are still there. And I'd recommend that we all wait to see the car flesh in flesh before making a final judgment. The Corvette C7 Stingray shocked the crowds when it first came out but now everyone loves it...
2015 Ford Mustang: This is it!
Ford made us wait too much for the 2015 Mustang but the wait is finally over as the first official pictures have finally showed up. Details about the pricing and the engine offerings will be specified once the car is fully revealed which shouldn't take too much time. The car will make its worldwide debut in a few hours and you will be able to contemplate the new pony car from every angle.
So stay tuned!

Pick of The Day: Ford Mustang Konquistador by Reifen Koch
I came across this impressive body kit for the 2010 Ford Mustang by German tuner Reifen Koch and thought it would look nice on the front page even though it's a bit old. The body kit was made with the Shelby GT500 Eleanor in mind and the result is pretty awesome!
Dubbed Cervini, the body kit includes a new hood, new front bumper, new rear bumper and even side exit exhaust system. To help you deal with the oversized speed bumps, Reifen also fits a hydraulic lifting system with a full KW coilover kit. The engine has not been touched in this particular model which means you will have to take car of that your self! The body kit costs nearly $10.7k. More pictures in the gallery below.
Need for Speed Mustang Pace Car Unveiled
Ford revealed its Need for Speed Mustang Pace Car which rides on massive 22 inch wheels and features a wide body kit for a meaner look. The car will fill its pace car duties during this weekend's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series final race of the season at the Homestead-Miami Speedway where it'll be driven by actor Ramon Rodriguez. But the Mustang will have a busy schedule right after its racing duties as it will be taking part in the upcoming Need for Speed movie too.

Pick of The day: Gorgeous Martini Mustang!
Look what we have here, a Martini Mustang. Hmmm, I thought that livery was reserved only for Porsches.. But now that I've seen this, I don't care about anymore about that because this Mustang looks pretty damn good! And what makes it even more special is that it has a 1966 Ford/Lotus Indy car motor and AC pedals. Even better, you can see it in motion in the following clip made by your favorite Youtube channel!
Best Rendering of the 2015 Ford Mustang GT so Far
I think that this is the best rendering so far (and by far) of the upcoming Ford Mustang GT. And judging by the spy shots circulating across the web, Josiah LaColla might not be too far from the real deal! Anyway here's what he had to say about his work of art.

2014 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet Prototype Sold for $200k
This beautiful orange Mustang Cobra Jet prototype (SN #2014 BJMS CJXX1) was sold at Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas for $200k. That's a $100k more than the asking price which will be going to aid the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. We would like to congratulate the anonymous buyer who thanks to his generous offer became an honorary member of Team Mustang. That allows him to keep an eye on the latest developments made in Ford's production and racing departments.
