UbiCollectibles' Watch Dogs 2' Wrench Figurine

And yup.. Just like how UbiCollectibles did companion figures for the Assassin's Creed figures, Watch Dogs 2 will be getting the same treatment as well.

UbiCollectibles will be releasing a stand-alone Wrench figurine which will act as a companion piece to the Marcus figurine from the San Francisco Edition.

Just like how Assassin's Creed had it, now Watch Dogs will also be getting a companion figurine to form a diorama.

Check out the trailer for the figurine as well..

Check it out.. There's going to be 3 different removable masks for Wrench! Something to play around with depending on your liking..

I love the diorama idea so why not? In fact, why not?! *points below*

Collection Updates - 03 Jul 2016

The June Holidays are always a good time to take week-long breaks from work. However, even with a 'long' break, time just seems to fly.. but I managed to do something productive during my latest break.

Bought more Ikea Billy Bookcases for more of my collection to go up on the new shelves, including some new items!

You might have seen these before, but I recently tracked down the Gentleman version locally, which completes the collection of the NECA Claptraps

This reminds me of how disappointed I was when NECA didn't continue with producing the Vault Hunter figures. I would definitely have bought the entire lot of them and even more Claptrap variants. Even some of the popular NPCs would have been nice and I would have bought half a dozen bandits to create an army.. Ahh I can only dream now..

But hey! With SDCC just around the corner, I would love to hear an announcement of someone picking up the Borderlands license.. Maybe 1:12 figures?

Nothing new here, just re-arranged some figures and decided to take another shot of my Darkness collection.
A very humble collection until I receive the One Statue to rule them all.. *cough* XM *cough* Studios *cough*

Nothing new again here but with that major E3 announcement, this deserves another shot! A bearded Kratos needs to join this collection! Where I'm going to place him is another question though..

I have been wanting to expand the God of War collection with some bigger pieces but there's other priorities at the moment.. One day hopefully..

Watch Dogs! Another major announcement for E3, so I had to dig out these items so that they finally get their own shelf. Very nice theme going with the collectibles, don't you think?

Let's see what the sequel will bring to the collection at the end of the year..

Speaking of E3 announcements, I was quietly hoping for some news about a new game in the series. Didn't happen though. Got all the inFamous collectibles onto 1 shelf. A bit empty but hopefully will have something to add soon..

These guys deserve a better spot than the bottom shelves but they have to make do for now.. Should be able to put more of the PCS Collectibles' Mortal Kombat statues on display as I set up more shelves.

Saved the best story for last..

With more and more additions coming in, some had to go.. These Sackboy keyrings were on the list that were going to be up for sale. The idea was to take a group shot of them all and put it up for sale.

Not sure what happened but I think it had something to do with Sony's E3 press conference. Lining these PlayStation Heroes up, I could swear I was cheering.. "Sony! Sony! Sony!"

Decided to not only keep the collection but expand on it. So, if there's anyone who has the Bloodborne, The Last of Us Joel & Ellie, Uncharted 4 versions, do drop me a PM as I would love to add them to my collection!

That's all for now.. 3 more shelves and a ton of collectibles are waiting to be shared. Check back again for more!

E3 2016: My Ubisoft Press Conference Highlights

Ubisoft, Ubisoft.. Can't help but to say that many gamers are getting frustrated with Ubisoft and the confidence in them is dropping. It didn't help that a video detailing the various graphical downgrades that Ubisoft games received was uploaded just a week before E3, putting them under scrutiny.

Despite some disappointments, Ubisoft will always hold a special place in my heart.

Love them or Hate them, on their 30th Anniversary, I felt Ubisoft put up a good Press Conference.

If you missed it, you can watch the entire Press Conference here.

No big surprise reveals for me. Ghost Recon Wildlands and For Honour will be something I'm looking forward to. Wildlands' vast open-world with 4 player co-op, will be fun with friends. For Honour looks promising, if they can pull it off.

Watch Dogs 2 looks like it will be a fun open-world to dig into with all that gadgets and hacking possibilities. I just wished they kept the Assassin's Creed-like parkour out of it and force the player to use the tech stuff to get in & out. Just to give a different feel to the different Ubisoft games.

Once again, PlayStation gamers get a bonus as we will be getting all DLC 30 days earlier than the rest. There was also an announcement of a Watch Dogs movie so the franchise is definitely here to stay. Getting more excited for Watch Dogs 2, got to start on the first game soon!

No Ubisoft Conference is complete without something Assassin's Creed-related so we got to see some behind-the-scenes footage of the upcoming movie along with some new scenes from the film. Big hopes for this one!

Virtual Reality is coming to gamers very, very soon. Ubisoft had some games of their own but I didn't like the VR stuff shown here. It's going to take a lot more than this to convince me to throw money for a VR set.

Overall, it was a good conference. I saw more of what I wanted to see but no big reveal like last year. For me, there's 3 big releases to look forward to, along with 1 highly anticipated movie. Bring it on Ubisoft!

E3 2016: Thoughts, Rumours, Predictions, Updates & More

It's that time of the year! All the biggest gaming news at E3 2016!

We have got some big reveals and announcements in the weeks & months leading up to this week and here are some of my favourites that will be at E3 2016.

Ghost Recon Wildlands

Announced at last year's E3, this was my favourite among the Tom Clancy Shooters. Love the Cartel theme and it's looking good but just a little worried after seeing all the Division's bugs and problems. Hoping it won't disappoint.

Mafia 3

Who doesn't love the old school Mobsters? Haven't touched the previous one but gonna get that completed before this releases in October.

Watch Dogs 2

Another of those games where I bought the game and the Collector's Edition in fact but have yet to touch. First one didn't get amazing reviews so I wasn't in a rush to play it but I might have t try it out to see if the 2nd deserves a purchase.

and a couple of others.. A couple of huge announcements to build the hype for E3 were definitely needed but the real excitement of E3 shows is watching reveal of a new game or IP during the live shows itself.

So what am I expecting or hoping to see this year?

God of War 4

Haha I have been predicting the announcement of a new God of War for 2 years now I think? But I'm hoping to be 3rd time lucky this year and I'm confident about it, especially with this leak a few months back, showing what is apparently God of War 4 concept art set in Norse Mythology.

Rockstar Games

A lot of mystery surrounding this Publisher. Red Dead Redemption 2? Red Dead Redemption Remastered? GTA V Story DLC?

In fact, a supposedly cancelled game seems to be resurrected just a week ago. There's reports that Rockstar Games renewed the Agent Trademark

Assassin's Creed

Ubisoft will have plenty to show during their Press Conference but this will be the first time in several years that we won't have a Assassin's Creed game at E3.. Or will we?

There's definitely a AC game in the works though we won't be seeing it this year. Perhaps we might get a tease or something? Ok.. maybe we won't but what about a Mobile game or some remastered Collection of sorts. It will be a weird E3 without Assassin's Creed especially with a huge movie releasing in late December.

Prince of Persia

Err.. ok never mind this..

Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack 3

NetherRealm Studios will be busy with Injustice 2 which they just revealed but fans have been asking for a MKX Kombat Pack 3 and it has been sort of teased.. So where better to announce it than E3?

Uncharted 4 DLC/ The Last of Us 2

There should be some update regarding Uncharted 4 Story DLC but I'm thinking the rumours of Naughty Dog announcing The Last of Us 2 is a bit far-fetched. Might just be too soon for that.

Can't think of anything else at the moment so I'm just hoping there will be some nice surprises. The Live Show Schedules for tonight are as follows..

Microsoft - 12.30am, June 14 SGT
Ubisoft - 4.00am, June 14 SGT
Sony - 9.00am, June 14 SGT

Ubisoft and Sony's conferences will be the ones I'll be looking forward to and watching live, so drop me a message if you are watching too!

Watch Dogs 2 Collector's Editions revealed

With the announcement of Watch Dogs 2 by Ubisoft, there were bound to be several Special Editions accompanying its release... but I definitely wasn't expecting 6!

Here's the details..

- 2 Personalisation Packs

A slight upgrade to the standard game with 2 customization packs.

Gold Edition

Watch Dogs 2 Game

- 3 lithographies of San Francisco, Marcus and DedSec
- San Francisco-themed Laptop Stickers

Something for the collectors, a must-have statue along with other goodies. No Season Pass included in this though, so you might need to spend more to get all the gaming content.

The Return of the DedSec Collector's Case

Watch Dogs 2 Gold Edition
- Exclusive Collector’s Case: while unboxing the collector’s edition, the player will see animated DedSec art ‘come to life’ via a dynamic lenticular effect.

Similar to recent Assassin's Creed Collectors' Editions, there will be 2 types of statues available for the 2nd installment of the Watch Dogs series. This edition also throws in more goodies as well as the Gold Edition of the game, which includes the Season Pass. Definite buy for the hardcore fans!

Wrench Junior Robot Collector’s Pack

Watch Dogs 2 Gold Edition
- Wrench Junior Robot: a 20cm replica of the in-game character. Wrench Junior robot is a motorized and endearing companion, controlled by an app (Android or IPhone), that moves, has emotions, interacts with pre-recorded sentences, and lets its owner the possibility to transmit his own personal message.

Something different from the regular Collector's Editions.. I'm actually curious to see how functionable these things are. There's been a couple of other 'Robot' editions with other games but this one has my interest. Also how safe are these with little kids at home (For both parties actually).

I haven't played the first Watch Dogs game so I will consider this, only if I really love the series.

All pre-orders will also receive the Zodiac Killer Mission as a bonus..

Some of these editions may only be available in certain regions or receive slightly different content but that's pretty much it. So.. tell me.. Which edition are you going for?

Watch Dogs 2 announced!

Watch Dogs 2 has finally been announced and revealed officially!

With no Assassin's Creed game this year, Watch Dogs 2 was highly anticipated to receive a sequel and with E3 2016 just a couple of days away, it was a matter of when rather than if.

Here it is, the official trailer reveal..

I haven't played the first but there looks like Watch Dogs 2 has plenty more fun gadgets and machines to play around with, while keeping the open world playground.

Join DedSec? Haha, I like Ubisoft's marketing strategy where they get gamers to join these factions.. Join the Assassin Brotherhood, the Templars, We are Ghosts.. and now the DedSec faction. Good one though!

Also, here's the World Premiere where the developers talk about the thought process in developing the game plus lots of details on what we can expect in the sequel.

Definitely an interesting watch for players who like to know what goes on behind the scenes. I like the fact they put out a video like this together with the reveal trailer so that we can get the info straight up.

Love it or Hate it but there's several tiered Special Editions announced for Watch Dogs 2 but I can't find the pics as of now. Will update the blog again once I got the pics..

Nov 15 release date.. Are you ready? Who else is looking forward to this?

Most people found the first game a bit too repetitive and boring but it was the same for the first Assassin's Creed game.. but I'm looking forward to see if they can fix the problems and make an overall better sequel.

Augumented Reality Card Pics from WatchDogs' DedSec Edition

Got a few messages asking me what the Augumented Reality Cards from the DedSec Edition were, so I managed to get some pics.

Here are the cards..

You will need to download the free H_IDE App to view the images.

Place them this side up..

and view..

There shouldn't be anything in between your device and the cards, or the images won't appear.

Let's take a closer look at each one..

Aiden Pearce

T-Bone
Defalt

Clara Lille

Not too bad eh? I don't think they are of any use in-game but still something pretty cool.

Now to invest in a mobile device that I can fix permanently at my display, so I can view it anytime.. Nah, just kidding!

WatchDogs DedSec Edition Pics

Here's some pics of my WatchDogs DedSec Edition for the PS4!

Taking off the shrinkwrap..

Opens up nicely..

Firstly.. The Steelbook

The PS4 Game Case

Map of Chicago

Box of 4 Augumented Reality Cards

Soundtrack CD

ArtBook

Some of the art inside..

Pin Badges

And as always.. My Favourite.. The Aiden Pearce Statue

This is the case that it comes in..

And here's more pics of the Statue..

Another fine little collaboration by PureArts and UbiCollectibles!

Overall, a nice Collector's Edition by Ubisoft again.

Until the end, I was torn between the US Limited Edition (pictured below) and the UK DedSec Edition..

But in the end, I think the extra content was worth the extra cost. Not really a fan of apparel so I could also afford to give the Scarf a miss.

Let's see if this Collector's Edition is the first of many for the WatchDogs franchise. I think that's a given, with Ubisoft, as long as the games keep coming.

And here's all of it together..
