Back for a new roadtrip... it's been a while isn't it 

This back, back to 'roots' ... it'll be a UK roadtrip ... yes yes... I guess I should live over there   

Ok, it's Wednesday evening, the 13rd of august 2008 (three months ago Yes ... arg  ). Let's prepare the car... and a trailer for tomorrow :



Yes...a trailer because there will be TWO games  One will be on the trailer, the other one inside my car 



Hey ... what about the Dr Pepper cans ?  They are already in the car, with other usual roadtrip items 



Ok, D-Day   



4:35 AM   



Here's the travel of the day :



Wait... I won't do it alone... this time, Sam [guardian of my Galaxian Theater in his garage for more than one year] will be a part of this story.
For information, traveling to UK via the Euro Tunnel will be a premiere for him 

Here's the man :



Starting from Belgium... and 3h30 or 4h00 later... arriving in France 



...and at Calais, where we'll use the Euro Tunnel 



Few minutes before entering into le Shuttle



Here we go 



Time to waste ? Hopefully we have a Retro Gamer mag' with us to read

Driving in England is easy (I mean driving on the left part of the road) when you're driving on a motorway... but you really have to be careful in the small roads like this one  :

As you can see, these cabs are in a really good cosmetic condition

The Gyruss will be in the car...



Did you notice ? I'm very happy to finally found a Gyruss... a game on my 'MUST HAVE' list 



Because that Pac Man will be on a trailer, we have to protect it as much as possible 



...AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE...



It should be fine now   



...very well protected, even the base... in case of rain (don't forget we are in England now) 



Very kind seller by the way... but It's the worst moment ( £££  ) 



Ok... we are far from home... time to say good bye, and add two more great vintage cabs in Belgium 

Sam is hungry... let's make a stop...

UK means rain... almost all the time  ...

Of course... no more empty space in my game room or in my house... So once again, Sam will keep the games in his garage few days/weeks/months/...  He's not to angry...because these games are smaller than the Galaxian Theater

I was only supposed to get a Pac Man Jr and a Gyruss... but ... when I saw this one 







 

... I had to ask to the (very nice and smart  ) seller if he would be ok to sell the Ms. to me 

Of course, impossible to bring it back with the two others cab, so I had to do a new road trip
