Stacy Julian will be kicking off this FREE BPC Creative Crop event with a LIVE video chat from the wonderfully colorful Doodlebug headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah. But, it gets better ...

We've created two LIVE Crop & Shop events later in the day (as a BONUS!)

Each three-hour event will feature 3 rotations, including a lecture-style class with Stacy, a hands-on, create your own 8x8 album with Wendy Smedley and Doodlebug designers and a final hour to enjoy a delicious box lunch, delightfully fun make & takes and a special National Scrapbook Day store chock full of Doodlebug products at special prices.

The product value alone for this event is $100 per student, plus there is potential prizes and instruction and personal time with Stacy Julian, Wendy Smedley and the Doodlebug Team! Our promotion time is short for these events, but we're excited to share this opportunity with you for only $50.00!

Doodles Layout Sketch: Go Green! Team Challenge

Last week we invited you to participate in our first Doodles Sketch Challenge (more details here). This week we're going to share with you what we challenged our Design Team to create with the Doodles Sketches. However, we took it a step further and told them they had to create their samples with 75% worth of GREEN Doodlebug products.

Spring

My favorite season is spring. I love the new, the freshness and the green [albeit the only green in our yard right now are these iris leaves and weeds]. I still love it.

For this layout, I used Monique's Doodles sketch. I looooooooove the ribbon notched piece in the center of her sketch, so that was my starting point. I layered photos instead of the line of various size photos. I will definitely use this sketch again!

Tip --- the spring sticker is too cute not to use, but I was having issues with the color. It was the same green as my background cardstock and was not showing up. So, I colored with a green marker similar to Doodlebug's grasshopper green. Viola!

Coming up with the perfect gift at Christmas time can be such a hard task as most people have everything they need. So, I decided to get a little bit creative and make an edible gift that can be used as a table centrepiece in the lead up to Christmas and then demolished (slowly of course) piece by piece.
