More than 90 celebs say they’re ready for Warren | TheHill

The group — which also includes Mark Ruffalo, Natasha Lyonne, Julia Stiles, and “The Avengers” director Joss Whedon — penned an open letter this week to the Massachusetts Democrat, pushing her to make a White House bid.

I thought Whedon was supposed to be  a libertarian or something.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. I thought Whedon was supposed to be a libertarian or something.

Nope. Garden variety Hollywood leftist who, in spite of that, manages to make things such as Firefly and the Avengers, with Captain America perfectly written. Remember when Cap said “There’s only one God and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t dress like that” before jumping out of the plane? Some lefties bitched at Whedon about it. His response? “It’s exactly in character for Captain America.”

So while he’s a raving leftist, he seems to be fairly good at not having to put a “message” into his movies/TV shows. Watching Firefly and Serenity must give him headaches though.

I have no idea, don’t even know who he/she/it is. However, my standard for anyone from Holy wood (ha) is they are commies, until proven otherwise. I’m not often wrong.
