Rush said today on his radio show that Obama is exacting harm on America by releasing illegals from prison in the name of the sequester, and he called it an impeachable offense. He said it’s unprecedented and unreal, that it’s completely unnecessary and childish – except that the consequences are real for the people who live in Arizona where the releases are happening. He also pointed out that the media is giving it very little attention.
Well, maybe, but Obama isn’t going to be impeached, certainly not by the Gutless Old Pussies of the Ruling Party, so why even bring it up?
And that’s pretty much how I feel about noting that the Probamaganda Hack Media isn’t giving much play to “news” (What do you mean, news? We’ll tell you when something is news. If we don’t, it’s not. And shut up.), that might inconvenience the object of their fellatory affections in any way as being a revelation akin to the discover that water is wet, fire is hot, and Barack Obama is a Marxist fucktard.

Republican that started 2 needless wars and cut taxes to fund them. The
same president whose relaxing of regulations led to the second worst
economic downturn in American history.
So, you call saving America from the disaster of the Bush/Chaney years destructive. You must have been born in an outhouse.
It is not even a crime, let alone a high
crime/high misdemeanor, so it is not the least bit impeachable, moron.
It is “Discretionary Enforcement”. It is also MANDATED by the US
Constitution, and the GOP. The current tax cutting BS has led to budget
cutting. That means there is not enough money to keep all the detainees
in detention. Some have to be released to make room for others. Having
too many detainees held in too small a space constitutes illegal “cruel
& unusual punishment”…which The US Constitution forbids in The
Eighth Amendment. If the GOP agreed to raise taxes, we could build &
staff more detention centers, and so keep more arrestees in detention
until their trials/deportations. Until such tax increases happen, more
releases will be REQUIRED BY LAW.
Obama has not committed a single impeachable offense. If he had, the House GOP would have started
impeaching him by now. Jacking your jaws/keyboards about impeachment
nonsense may feel good in the short-term, but accomplishes nothing. You
clowns did that for four years, and got nowhere with it. You will get
nowhere with it in the next four years, either. If you spent one tenth
the time raising taxes, and properly spending them, that you spend
BS-ing about impeachment, and birth certificates, and Kenya, you have
proven what I’ve said for the last four years! You people hate him
because he is black! You hate having a black man as President of these
United States, but won’t admit it!

Since you rerigged over the last couple of days, the site loads/updates for me like greasy lightning – however, for some reason, when I access via the Internet Exploder from my work-site (only on lunch-time or other breaks, honest, folks!), the Comments load pretty-slowly to <em>verr-r-r-y</em> slowly – plus, I am not able to log in to the site from there, so cannot Comment for myself.
I kinda like the Around The Blogosphere In 80 Seconds thingy – 'specially now that you started inserting snarky commentary after each entry/link (that is you, right?) OTOH, the Morning News-Hooks series doesn't have a lot of appeal – too many items, maybe, or just that it's kinda overkill having <em>two</em> link strings in a day. In the end, though, you're Da Kingpin – you gotta do what you gotta do; you won't chase me away – even though your comment-posts are still the best part of DP.
As to The Obamanation ReRun: Not really unexpected for me, but pretty dismaying all the same. I figured it to be a close-run thing, in the end – and that Barky and the Demonrats would therefore likely steal it if it <em>was</em> close. The Rethuglicans blew it big-time, of course – Romney was too little, whether early or late, plus I think the RINOs were working as hard as they could to throw it away anyway. Pretty much a lost cause from the get-go – when the Tea Party people couldn't get enough traction to displace the R-Elites on the nomination, it was all running downhill from there.
I think we're screwed, short- or long-term, for at least a generation to come – and it's likely to get <em>really</em> nasty, <em>really</em> soon; much nastier, I think, than most people are willing to believe.
We're too long since the last time this nation had a real, knock-down-drag-out nationwide crunch, where just about everyone is affected, one way or another. Most of the U.S. has no direct memories of just how bad things can get. I'm afraid a lot of us are going to have the "opportunity" to acquire such memories for ourselves…

Wouldn't matter if the House were to impeach Obama, the Senate would no more convict him than it did Clinton.
If by some freak of chance the Seante did convict him, Holder would appeal to SCOTUS and Chief (in)Justice Roberts would fabricate an excuse to overturn it.
