Watch Out! Barry to be ‘aggressive’ in second debate – Riehl World News

Says Gibbs, “Obviously, the president was disappointed in his own performance.” Yes, along with all of his base!

And that’s what his purported “aggressive” approach really means: He’s given up going for independents, who tend to be repelled by aggressive thuggishness, and is desperately trying to shore up the bloodthirsty hooligans of his base.

He’s totally demoralized. Romney should ride right through him this time around, and I think that’s exactly what he will do.

About Bill Quick

I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.

  1. I expect an aggressive, pugnacious performance will get boffo reviews, and even a bump in the polls. The race will be judged even/too-close-to-call right up until election day. Afterward, the left will do its own Arab Rage Boy impression. Stay off the streets on November 7th, Bill.

  2. But, but… that doesn’t jive with the scenario of the contrarian Aussie astrologers, who claim Romney will win, but the election result will be a stunner. Then again, given the left’s penchant for self delusion, a Romney win would be a stunner to them, wouldn’t it? OTOH, maybe the margin will be the stunner, with the final polls showing a relatively close election. I’ll be happy either way, as long as Bambi is gone.
