So I fixed both my problems with network manager and bluetooth, which are now functioning properly, and I solved a new problem with Innotek Virtual Box (somehow damaged, wouldn’t boot) by downloading and (re)installing the latest version.
Since my Windows XP install seems damaged by the transfer to the SSD, I guess I’ll be using Ubuntu Linux from here on out.
Well, it does get the job done. And I do have every capability I had in native XP, via the Virtual Box. In fact, I could just run the XP desktop on top of Ubuntu, and never see anything in native Linux.
But I probably won’t do that.
Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled programming, and enough of Linux – at least until the gold Ibex drops late next month sometime.
