About Bill Quick
I am a small-l libertarian. My primary concern is to increase individual liberty as much as possible in the face of statist efforts to restrict it from both the right and the left. If I had to sum up my beliefs as concisely as possible, I would say, "Stay out of my wallet and my bedroom," "your liberty stops at my nose," and "don't tread on me." I will believe that things are taking a turn for the better in America when married gays are able to, and do, maintain large arsenals of automatic weapons, and tax collectors are, and do, not.
The NYT fails to point out that the “trucks and buses filled with a large paramilitary force” had an even nastier surprise when they attempted to engage tanks and AFV’s.
They just kept coming the same old way and we kept killing them the same old way.
This book will help Bush because it will contain the truth.
(As a consequence, it has no chance of being featured on 60 minutes).

Don’t be too sure about it not being on 60 Minutes. Although I’m not sure if it’s in the book, Franks is not that sypmathetic towards Israel – or perhaps one could say more sympathetic to the Arab governments. Perhaps it can be spun into it’s all Israel and the neo-cons fault.
Is Franks’s book being published by an affiliate of CBS? It seems as if that is the test these days for which authors are highlighted on “60 Minutes”.
