Carnival Cruise Line is investigating a casino scam involving two casino staff members and passengers that lasted for three months, costing the company over $100,000. While the two staff members were not arrested, it has not been confirmed whether the other fired employees are being held responsible for failing in their supervisory duties.

Carnival Corporation has been ordered to pay an extra $2 million in interest after trying to appeal a $10.2 million verdict in a sexual assault case, bringing the total compensation to over $12 million. The ruling comes after a Florida federal judge imposed sanctions on the company for delaying the case for an additional two years.

After a three-week dry dock in Singapore from August 5th to 24th, Carnival Splendor set sail for Australia, with a new Southern Cross livery.
