My Favorite Stamp of the Month!

GOOD MORNING my sweet friends!!! 

Today we are featuring another "My FAVORITE stamp of the Month!  This month we are 
featuring one of my FAVE dies "Stripey Background II!".  If this set has been on your wish list,

For my card today, I decided to use this stamp a little different! I stamped it the regular way using 
my Misti, then I turned my Misti the opposite direction, placed my white card stock down 
again & this is how I got a checkered board look! I will do a video SOON on
EXACTLY how I did it so it can make more sense to you! ;) Then I just grabbed some 
pattern paper that I found in my scraps & used my "More Stitched Rectangular Dies"
to cut out my layer! Next I took the feather dies from my "Believe in Your Dreams"
& cut out my windows! Then I attached that layer to my layer with my
checkered background I had stamped. Then I added the sentiment with the coordinating 
word die from my "Fun Notes" set! This card came together QUICKLY &
I LOVED how it turned out!

Before I go, I just want to share this with you all! I shared this on FB last night, but I wanted to share with you here who don't have a FB page!  Although I was not feeling 100% yesterday,  there was NO WAY I was going to miss BOTH of my boys games! It felt so good to see BOTH of my beautiful boys in uniform together again! Baby Aaron is on the Varsity Team & Anthony is on JV! To celebrate, I surprised the boys with taking them to Krispy Kreme donuts! Yes, I know, not very healthy, but it's okay to praise your children once in a while for ALL of their hard work & dedication!

Of course, I freaked out when I turned around & saw these 2 "on the dirty floor" in Krispy Kreme having a push-up competition! LOL....  I sent them both to the bathroom to wash their paws ASAP!! ;) hehehe! Boys will be boys & these 2 are my WORLD & I could NOT be any prouder of BOTH of them along with their accomplishments! ;) 

I am paying today for being out in the cold yesterday at the games, but it was all worth it! Nothing a little tea, sudafed, delsym cough syrup & rest can't fix.....right?  ;)

My Favorite Stamp of the Month!

For this card, I thought this sentiment would be PERFECT stamped onto my coffee cup from my Revised "Coffee Break" set~!   I actually WAS supposed to do a video today, but I was playing around with this earlier since this was the first day of Miss Kathy's 30 Day Coloring Challenge!  So I thought I would color something while I ate breakfast! I LOVE to "multi-task" ;) 

I basically just watercolored the background, stamped the sentiment onto my layer of the card.  Next I stamped & die cut my coffee cup, then stamped the sentiment again onto the cup using my misti just to make sure the sentiment lined up perfectly with it on the watercolor portion!  I stamped the sentiment a 3rd time & fussy cut out the banner then popped that up onto the coffee cup! BUT, before I did that, I watercolored the coffee cup & did some shading on the lid!  Last I stamped the little dotted heart at the top on my cup! This actually was NOT supposed to be my card today, but I thought it came out pretty decent, so I just decided to use it for today! :)
