Hi Tracy here from Tracy's Cricut Corner!! I'm so excited to be hosting this week's Designer's Challenge!!
If you have visited my blog then chances are you know I LOVE googly eyes!! I just think they make everything a little bit more fun! lol!! So for my challenge you can make any project you like, just include googly eyes somewhere on it! Easy peasy as Emma would say! :)
I made a Halloween card using the Mini Monsters cartridge!
The card is a 5X7 size. Frank is cut out at 5 1/2 inches. I added some orange glitter glue to his tie and Glossy Accents to his shoes (which then made his hair look weird so I added some to there too!). The sentiment is from MCT's Mixed Holiday Sentiment stamp set.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you join along in this challenge! I look forward to seeing what you all come up with!
Tracy
And now for some EYE popping (hee hee) inspiration from the MCT Design Team
Emma;) that's me! hehehe!
What a fun challenge this was from Miss Tracy! As soon as Miss Tracy decided she wanted this to be a "Googly Eyes" challenge, I knew EXACTLY what I wanted to make! I've been dying to use my glasses & mustache dies on my newest die (Just Tags) I I just LOVE how it turned out! I was just at Hobby Lobby earlier today & picked up the fibers (on sale 40% off) that I used for this! You can obviously see the black fiber, but I also used the cream color one to put in between each layer of the tags!
I'd thought that this sentiment from "you had me at chocolate" was PERFECT for this!
Supplies I used:
~ Oval shaped googly eyes (hobby lobby)
~ Black & cream color fibers (hobby lobby)
Didn't Miss Tracy do an AMAZING job w/her challenge & aren't these the CUTEST "Googly Eyes" projects EVER??? They ALL put a HUGE smile on my face!;) I hope to see LOTS of you playing along w/this challenge!

ReplyDeleteA fun google eyed owl using Birthday Bash Cartridge pg. 47 I cut a branch because I thought he needed something to stand on. I also added a (much too large) moon behind and inked up some edges using Vintage Photo.
