"My fiancé & and I were engaged on Christmas Eve, 2013. For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for photography and making snapshots of memories along this precious road of life. We are planning a Christmas themed Wedding for December of 2014 and wanted to forever capture this exciting time in our lives. What better way to do this than by having our engagement photos taken at the beautiful Mistletoe Acres Tree Farm in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts. I knew the kind of photographer we were searching for. Someone who I feel puts her whole heart & soul into her work; someone who is creative and pays attention to detail, someone who has an eye for capturing the moment and a talent for making it last forever. After having viewed some of Courtney’s work in the past, I just knew she was the photographer for us! On February 8th, 2014 we had our engagement photos taken by Courtney Cook at Mistletoe Acres Tree Farm in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The tree farm was absolutely breathtaking and so festive! What a fun, exciting and memorable day! It truly was a day to remember. Not only is Courtney kind, down to earth, creative & talented, but she also shows great ethic and passion for her work. In 30 degree freezing cold weather, after having been out on the tree farm for a couple of hours, and just before we were about to wrap up the shoot, Courtney continued to come up with ideas of shots for us to take. "We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Courtney being our photographer for our wedding day. After seeing her photos online a couple years ago, I was always impressed with her eye for artistic pictures – that I knew when we were getting married that she had to be our photographer.
Courtney was outstanding with communication prior to, during and after the event. We did not meet her before the wedding, but felt like we already knew her with our contact during the weeks / months beforehand. She arrived on-site early and took some scenery shots that she included in our album. The setting for our ceremony holds a special place in our heart, so it was nice to have some pictures of the area as well. She met and spoke with several family members and friends prior to the ceremony and everyone loved her. She was comfortable to be around and she fit right in!
Courtney emailed us a link to our photos in a timely manner on a website that was easy to use, purchase from and share. There were a mix of formal / candid and color / black & white photos. Some of the candid pictures she captured were among our favorites – a laugh between friends, a stolen kiss and tender moments with children. Our wedding was everything that we wanted it to be and she captured the feeling of it in every picture.
Courtney never made us feel rushed or that we were on a schedule. She suggested different poses to create some amazing shots. I was worried about the sun coming in and out, but Courtney assured me that the photos were going to be better with this light – she was absolutely right!
Your wedding photos will be the most incredible way for you to relive your special day. It is an important investment to get the best photographer.
