Twiice Loved Giveaway [OVER]
Congrats Jesse! You have won a beautiful doll from Twiice Loved! I will be contacting you soon! Thank you to everyone who entered this giveaway!
It's almost Halloween! Eeek. I'm so excited. I'm ready to dress Adrienne up in her little bumblebee tutu. I totally gave her a high-five for being so darn cute in it. We also have a birthday party to go to this week, plus I'm having a huge moving sale to get rid of all my excessive junk. So, busy bees? Always. See what I just did there?
Anyhoney, I'm also excited to give all you beautiful readers of mine another amazing giveaway. I'm teaming up with Twiice Loved this week! Twiice Loved creates some of the most exquisite rag dolls in all of the land. Not only are these dolls pretty big (they measure 23" each!), their details are breathtaking. From removable fur coats to gold party dresses, these dolls have the glam. It seems only fitting that their level of fancy is so high, since they are handmade in London. I don't know what it is, but everything seems more glittery over in the U.K.
Each doll is hand-crafted from recycled and vintage materials. No two are alike! Compared to other rag dolls in the same field costing close to $200, cough Jess Brown cough, the prices of these dolls are pretty grand. Some Twiice Loved dolls sell for only $25 doll hairs. Twiice Loved even makes custom rag dolls!
These dolls are the perfect decor for any little princess's room, having that shabby chic, vintage feel. They also make great companions for that same little princess. I know Adrienne loves having tea parties with hers. Crumpets, anyone?
Now it's time for the giveaway! One lucky reader will win a doll from Twiice Loved.
For your chance to win, just log into the Rafflecopter below (or make a new Rafflecopter account), and follow the directions for each entry. Please make sure to actually do what's required for each entry. If you just click enter and not do what it's asking, I'll know. If you are unsure how to do one, skip it and contact me. I can't stress this enough. I go back and check to make sure the winner actually did what was required. I will not let cheaters win. DON'T CHEAT. Meh.
And don't forget to earn extra entries by tagging your friends on the picture of this giveaway on Coffee and Cashmere's Instagram account (@coffeeandcashmerelove). Tag as many friends as you want in separate comments! The more the merrier!
This giveaway will last until Saturday, November 9th, 2013. One winner will be picked at random via Rafflecopter. The winner will win a rag doll from Twiice Loved. The winner will be announced on coffeeandcashmere.com and will also be notified via email. The winner will have ONE week to respond to the email to claim their prize. If a winner never responds, a second winner will be picked at random.
A big thanks to Twiice Loved for creating such beautiful pretend friends.

Bitty Baby [American Girl]
Today is the day! American Girl has reveled their brand new Bitty Baby! Joy of joys. I know.
Last week, American Girl sent Adrienne a gorgeous brown (looks more like black) haired Bitty of her very own. If you have been reading my blog for a good bit now, which all of you should have and shame on you if you haven't, you'd know we love dolls. I probably love dolls a little more than Adrienne, but, well, who cares.
Anylivingvicariouslythroughmychild, American Girl has launched a brand new Bitty Baby, featuring 11 different dolls to choose from, trumping the previous 7. Bitty Baby also comes with a new pink and white sleeper, a hard-cover book, and a little plush star. Gone are the days of the Bitty Baby Bear and that makes me sad. But the new story book sort of makes up for the disappearing bear. These new books are gorgeous. They are actual story books for little girls instead of board books for Bitty.
In addition to all of the changes, American Girl also dropped a whole new line of accessories and furniture for the baby dolls. Like actual wooden furniture. Finally. We currently have the old plastic Bitty Baby canopy bed and highchair. I can't believe I spent what I did on those two pieces and they aren't even wooden. What you do for your kids never ceases to amaze. So, bravo American Girl, for making more high-end furniture. With more quality things, the prices have, of course, gone up. The furniture is pretty pricey and the new Bitty Baby currently retails for $80, whereas the previous Bitty retailed at $55.
Adrienne received her first blonde-haired Bitty Baby from the Easter Bunny when she was two. For a year and a half, that Bitty Baby has gone so many places with her and hasn't missed one night of sleep in her bed. They just are tight like that.
So, now this new Bitty Baby has been thrown into the mix. I was a little worried the old Bitty would suddenly loose an eyeball and start walking around trying to dump the new Bitty into the garbage. I mean, hello, Toy Story 3. Nothing has happened yet.
The old Bitty still sleeps in the princess's bed. The new Bitty sleeps in the Bitty Baby bed. All is well.
A Bitty Baby is well worth the money. These dolls withstand the test of time and last way past childhood, making them great to pass down to other generations. I've had my American Girl Kirsten since I was eight. And she still looks brand new. I applaud this great company for making so many little girl's lives magical.

Manu Atelier Doll Giveaway [OVER]
This giveaway is over! Congrats Rachel T.!! You have won a gorgeous Manu Atelier doll for your very own, err, for your child! I will be contacting you soon! A big thanks to everyone who entered this great giveaway!
My child is a lover of make-believe. From trying to hitch a ride to Purple Planet to being a legit princess on the regular, her imagination is always on point. Most of the time I'm envious that my mind doesn't work like hers anymore. I'm constantly lacking in the play department. I'm running low on my question asking. And I'm ever so slowly losing my ability to make-believe. It's like the Polar Express, where the grownups can't hear the bell.
I can't hear the bell.
So, when Manu Atelier sent Adrienne the most perfect, hand-made rag doll ever, I got all reminiscent of my childhood. My grandmother had made me a doll similar to the Manu's ones when I was Adrienne's age.
Gosh, I carried my doll with me on so many adventures. I had all the make-believe power in the world.
I held the heavy Manu doll in my hands, thinking how much creativity I was missing. So, I grabbed Adrienne and we went into her bedroom and played dolls for a good hour. Much longer than we have ever played one thing consistently. I think it had to do with the simplicity of this rag doll. There were no buttons to push to make her talk, no eyes that opened and closed, no hair to brush.
But this rag doll had so much more.
Adrienne and "Anne-weesa" will have many adventures together. Make-believe and all.
Meh.
And don't forget to earn extra entries by tagging your frands on the picture of this giveaway on Coffee and Cashmere's Instagram account (@coffeeandcashmerelove). Tag as many frands as you want in separate comments! The more the merrier!
This giveaway will end on August 10th, 2013! One winner will be picked at random and will receive a handmade Manu doll. The winner will be announced on coffeeandcashmere.com and will also be notified via email. The winner will have ONE week to respond to the email and claim their prize. If the winner never responds, a second winner will be picked at random.
Thank you Manu for making life-long friends and catering to small beings with huge imaginations.
