BzzAgent - Kashi Hummus Crisps

I received my BzzAgent kit for #Kashi #HummusCrisps in Sea Salt & Olive Oil.  Inside the box was a 4 oz package of crisps and 5 $1 off coupons on any 2 bags of 4 oz or more.  I am eager to try the other two flavors - Caramelized Onion and Sundried Tomato, Basil & Feta
#GotItFree #KashiHummusCrisps
An extreme closeup of the crisps - you can see the sea salt and parsley on each one!  The fact that a serving equals 27 crisps for a mere 120 calories makes this a tasty and good for you treat that will appeal to young and older alike.  Sturdy little popped crisps can stand up to a hearty chili or your favorite delicate hummus (mine is roasted red pepper).  Give them a try, you will appreciate the flavor and won't miss the greasy potato chips.

BzzAgent Package - Distinctly White by Luster

This is what was in my BzzAgent kit for Distinctly White by Luster:
  • A Distinctly White whitening kit - rinse wash and whitening paste with a brush on applicator
  • NOW Whitening toothpaste in 6 - individual packets, enough to try and share
  • Six coupon packs - each valued at $9.50
  • Welcome postcard from BzzAgent
The following is my before photo without any enhancements, just cropped to see the details:

Yummy Treat - FAGE with Blueberry Acai

I devoured this yummy treat in moments and while I was scraping out the bottom of the flavor section, I started thinking about what I like and that I wish was different:
  • Enjoyed - rich, thick, yogurt - even without the flavor cup content it's pretty tasty
  • Enjoyed - the portion size is good - ration of flavor to yogurt is spot on
  • Enjoyed - they stack nicely in the fridge (my OCD tendencies appreciated this most of all)
  • Enjoyed - the unusual packaging which I will re-purpose for watercoloring
  • Not So Enjoyable - the flavor section is shaped in such a way that once tilted majority of it comes out but there is still enough left at the oddly shaped bottom that it forced me to flip my spoon over to use the narrow handle.  Not being gifted with a Gene Simmons size tongue, I had to resort to an actual tool but didn't want to waste a single drop of the Blueberry Acai!
  • Selection at several local stores was less than expected - I got a teaser when visiting the Fage website but was only able to find the following: Peach, Honey, Blueberry Acai, Cherry, Strawberry.  I would really like to also try: Strawberry Goji, Cherry Pomegranate, Mango Guanabana, NEW Apple Cinnamon Raisins, NEW Orange Cinnamon, NEW Passion Fruit Clementine, NEW Kiwi Papaya Passion Fruit
Overall a nicely flavored and seasoned yogurt that is not runny and completely satisfying.

BzzAgent - Garnier Olia Hair Coloring

This is the content of the packaging -  Applicator bottle, #1 Developer Tube, #2 Colorant, #3 Conditioner and instructions with a pair of black disposable gloves

I chose 6.60 Intense Auburn - a lovely shade of red

My Review:
  • The packaging is quite attractive
  • A larger size conditioner is a pleasant surprise
  • Instructions are flashy and contemporary in blacks, bright pinks and vivid yellows, easy to follow (if I read them...ha) even the diagrams have been updated to the time
  • No Ammonia
  • Develops in 30 minutes even on grey hair = BONUS
  • No scalp burning sensation
  • No nasty typical coloring smell, which is a good thing when you are surrounded by your own hair.  The smell is a pet peeve of mine that has always annoyed me the most of all the unpleasant things about home hair coloring.
  • Washing out the coloring did take longer than usual and felt somewhat greasy, not on your hands but the hair just felt like it was not getting rinsed effectively
  • The applicator bottle, although comfortable to hold while your hands are dry, became slippery if you get any coloring on it.  It would be better if there were grip ridges on at least a few spots on the bottle for safer gripping
  • The gloves did not fit me comfortably, my fingers were too long for the gloves and even with pretty short nails they did not hold up for the duration of the process.  In addition, the fact that they were just too small for me, made my hand cramp up a couple of times when squeezing the bottle to get the last bits out
  • Overall, I really liked this product.  I will see how it holds up to the fading that often happens to red hair color.

Cafe Escapes Review

As a part of a trial package from BzzAgent, both my husband and I tried each of the five varieties of Cafe Escape flavors and are providing an honest review of the product based on our personal tastes.  This review is just that - our opinion but we feel it's

  • Cafe Vanilla - Paulie liked this one OK but I found it to be watery and somewhat flat in flavor with a bit more sweetness than I prefer
  • Cafe Milk Chocolate - Paulie enjoyed this one the most, I was indifferent to put it politely.  I found it too watery and lacking the promised lush mouth feel
  • Cafe Dark Chocolate - my favorite of the five, Paulie's least favorite.  It's funny how tastes can differ so greatly.  The only observation I can make about this flavor - when I removed the cup once the brew process completed and supposedly all the flavor was extracted, a thick glop of dark chocolate concentrate developed directly below the spout on my Keurig.  I didn't move the cup prematurely but it seems like there was more there that didn't make it to my palate. Being curious, I help up the 'spent' K-Cup to a light source and there appeared to be about a quarter inch of something left at the bottom.   I expected that for hot chocolates, pretty much everything would be vacated from the K-Cup leaving just the plastic shell, unlike with coffee leaving grounds behind
  • Cafe Chai Latte - The gene for enjoying Chai must be on the same DNA strand as Cilantro - and I must be missing both.  I do not enjoy the smell or taste of either and this was by far my least favorite.  Again, ironically, Paulie enjoyed this one quote a bit.  Go figure!
  • Cafe Mocha - I liked this one, smoother and more flavorful than the rest I tried.  Paulie was lukewarm to it.
  • Cafe Caramel - I thought it was way too sweet and not the caramel flavor I expected, Paulie didn't finish it and thought it was not 'caramelly enough' for his liking.
Would we buy these - possibly a couple of them, if they were on sale but not likely at full price in the grocery store.  It was interesting to taste test these.
