17th Annual Polar Bear Plunge
Created while an undergraduate student at East Carolina University.
The Polar Bear Plunge started as part of the grand opening of the Student Recreation Center in 1997, when 35 participants took the plunge. The event has grown each year with more jumpers. This year we broke a record of right at over 1000 jumpers. I developed and created the comprehensive campaign including tee-shirts, banners, posters, website postings, postcards, business cards, social media, and really helped promote this huge event.
