This design was for a new pontoon out on the South coast of Wellington off Island Bay.
The construction paper dealt specifically with a series of details relating to floatation decives as well as dealing with connections and materials that suited the conditions of sea water.
The pontoon was made up of a series of panels that all connection with a hinge joint to allow for movement with swell and tides.
