During the summer of 2010, I spent 6 weeks living in Limerick, Ireland studying Irish art history at the University of Limerick. During my stay there, I visited dozens of castles and castle ruins. My favorite of these is the Rock of Cashel, located in Cashel, South Tipperary, Ireland. Below is a virtual model I created using stills of the castle ruins and Maya. The castle was modeled and textured using photographs that I took while I was there, as well as my memory of the site.
