Baseball Invitation
Wednesday, April 21, 2010
This baseball invitation for our baseball party is fairly easy to make. You print out the details of your party on white card stock. Center up the wording and cut with a circle cutter (as always you can cut by hand if needed). Next you punch out an even number of small holes in the shape of an arch (one arch on the top and one arch on the bottom) these will be for the strings of the ball. Use a small red ribbon and thread it through the holes then make a knot on the back at four ends to keep the ribbon from coming out.
We have included the template here if you'd like to use it. It's pretty basic but it may save you some time cause you won't have to figure out where to punch the holes. Click on the image below to enlarge, click again to enlarge even more, right click and save it to your computer. Open the template in a photo editing program and line up the corners with a regular 8.5 x 11 size sheet (use the little black lines for reference). Now you can add your wording/party details. Print it out on white card stock, use the very small and light dot in the center to line up your circle cutter and cut. Punch the holes on all the small dots, make them fairly small. Now your invitation is ready to thread your red ribbon. Our invitation measures 5.25 inches.
