Free Valentine Printable

1 John 4:8 says, Whoever does not love does not know God, because God IS love.

Love is so far and wide beyond romantic love. Love can move mountains if we allow it to and do things unimaginable. For this Valentine print, I wanted it to be a reminder that there is so much more to love than just romance. Romance is nice but the real everyday love shown to us and from us is what gets us through life.

Please print and enjoy this image I made for you and remember you are loved.

Lego Heart Necklce Valentine with Printable

Monday, February 2, 2015

Yay my beloved February, you made it! In honor of Valentine's Day and my favorite month February, I have a great Valentine and free printable to share with you.

I don't know about y'all but my boys absolutely love Legos. A Lego theme Valentine for their classmates seemed fitting. These Lego heart necklaces are easy and fun to make.

You need 2 Lego Coupling plates (part #4188189) per heart. These plates are about 20 cents each and can only be ordered by phone directly through Lego by calling 1-800-835-4386 (US or Canada) or 1-860-749-0706 (outside US or Canada).

You also need a chain or ribbon or whatever you want to use to make the necklace part.

Print out our free printable circles (below) on cardstock. Punch them out with a jumbo circle puncher. Punch a small hole for the chain to go trough (in the proper spot of course) and attach the paper circle and heart to the chain or ribbon. Write the to and from on the back side.

That's it, now you have a fun little Valentine!
You can download and print our free printable Lego Valentine by clicking HERE.

{Hope for the Home} New Blog Series

Monday, January 9, 2012

Hi y'all! I want to share this new blog series that is just starting over at Worthy of the Prize Ministries.

It's called Hope for the Home - Finding God in the Everyday. Every Monday they will share an idea on doing intentional things in your daily life that spur thoughts/conversations about God, making your home and life a living testimony.

It may be a craft that teaches your child a Bible story, a piece of decor for your home, a devotional thought or an object lesson, a recipe with a spiritual parallel, an inspirational printable to display in your home or anything that people can use to make God a part of their everyday life and home.

You will hear from Worthy of the Prize AND some great guest bloggers for this new series which includes yours truly on occasion. If the interest is there this may even become a linky, so that you can link-up your own ideas too!

There is an overload of this kind of stuff around the holidays but it would be nice to have a place to share ideas year round! Yeah???

I encourage you to check it out, share it with everyone.

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates. {Deuteronomy 6:4-9}

Lets Bring Brady Home {Part One}

* UPDATE - Have you checked out the current list of prize package contributors in the left sidebar?  You could win some great gifts from these fantastic sponsors while helping to bring this sweetie home!

You see this sweet boy?
This is Brady and he needs a family.

You see this lovely family?
They are the Hartmans and they want to bring Brady home and make him part of their family!

This boy NEEDS this family! Lets help him get HOME!

Brady has down syndrome and because of this he was abandoned at birth like the majority of children with any sort of disabilities in Eastern Europe and other parts of the world. It is standard procedure when these children turn 4-6 years old (depending on region) they are transferred from Orphanages to full blown Mental Institutions.

Brady has already been transferred.

I believe that people are genuinely good and people genuinely want to do good. I believe this wholeheartedly which is why I am hoping, praying and asking this:

Will YOU help the Hartmans bring Brady home?

Do you have a neat product that you make or sell? Do you have a website or etsy shop? Can you make, create, craft, sew, etc.? We need your products!!!

All of your creative, lovely, awesome products will be combined into one grand prize package! This package will then be up for grabs to those that can make a small $5 donation to Brady's and the Hartman's adoption fund. Each $5 donation = 1 entry!

PLEASE think about it, pray about it, spread the word about it and ask yourself

Can I help bring Brady home?

Please contact me HERE or via the contact page above if you can donate a new/unused product. Please send others this way that can donate a product. Flood my inbox with donations for Brady!

And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE spread the word about this by posting it to your blog, facebook, twitter, email or other. Grab the button below!

Copy and paste into your website or blog.

To learn more about the Hartmans visit their blog HERE.  And their sponsor/donation page HERE.

More to come on Brady soon!

Hello! Today I have the activity cards to go with yesterday's countdown envelopes. There are a couple of extra cards in there so you have a bit of a selection. Download and print in a 4x6 size to be sure they fit in your envelopes. You could have them printed at a photo lab if you like that type of finish or I also suggest using card-stock.

If you missed the envelopes yesterday get them HERE.
Enjoy! I'd love to know if you use them.

Valentine Countdown {Download/Printable}

With Valentine's Day just around the corner what better way to teach your children (or remind yourself) about love? I've created this Valentine Countdown for my kiddos and thought I'd share with you!
Lovely numbered envelopes perfect for stuffing
 perfect for counting down
until one more day til Valentine's Day!
What's even more special is what's inside. Sure we've got treats and love notes, but every other day there is an activity or thing to do that deals with love and a bible verse that pertains to it.

We hung ours on a line with clothes pins but you could just as easily put them in a bowl or where ever!

The envelopes will need to be printed and cut and glued. It's pretty basic but if you need help please ask. To get red and white like pictured above print out 2 sets of envelopes, one set on red paper and one set on white. These download in a zip file that you will have to extract after downloading.

The card on the right is designed with a spot to attach a small candy (heart marks the spot). Print it as a 4x6.

Special thank you to The Graphics Fairy for the frame images on the envelopes! Enjoy!

9 Years Ago Today

This girl married her love!
Perfect Love! That's the name of our song, by Trisha Yearwood. It's engraved in his wedding band. He purposed at a Trisha Yearwood concert during this song. (not on stage) And it was played at our wedding during the recessional. It was perfect!

We got the boys a sitter for the evening so we get to celebrate over dinner. A peaceful dinner!

From day one I have loved his sense of humor. Come on now it takes a sense of humor to put up with that much cake smooched on your face!

And his crazy character!

And there are a ton of other things that I love about him. He is an awesome husband, provider and father, just to name a few. I love you Sweetie! Happy Anniversary!

I heart Pizza! Absolutely love it. When asked my favorite food, it's pizza. My husband and one of my kiddos likes it just as much as the next person, but my other kiddo shares this love of pizza with me. We should have a pizza place. ;)

Don't you think this is the prefect valentine gift for 2 pizza lovers? My husband had this Heart Shaped Pizza made for us for valentine's day. Isn't it sweet? Thank you Sweetheart. I love you!
All you need is pizza, pizza's all you need.
