Coffee Cards with Deb and Celeste

Good morning everyone! I'm guesting over at Coffee Cards with Deb and Celeste this month, and as a surprise to our pal Terri we're featuring her new wreath stamp she designed for So Suzy Stamps.

Now, some people see a wreath and immediately think 'holiday'. Me, I wonder how I can use it to fit any season. Behold the autumn wreath! It was actually super easy to make; I popped the wreath into my Misti (so it would always stamp in the same spot) and first inked it up with Hero Arts Butter Bar ink. Then I added dabs of Just Rust and Red Royal ink to create a tri-color wreath.

The golden shimmer? Distress Stain in Tarnished Brass splattered onto the card front with a paintbrush. I filled in the berries with Dandelion Yellow Nuvo Drops and added shimmer berries with Golden Sunset Nuvo Glitter Drops. A little mustard twine from my stash and the 'Happiness is...' sentiment stamped in Hero Arts Cup o' Joe ink and the front was done.

Of course, I had to finish off the inside, too:

It may still be 80 degrees here, but there's nothing like warm cider in the fall. It was so easy to finish off the inside of the card with a smattering of leaves and more gold splatters.

I Scream, You Scream...

...we all scream for ICE CREAM!

It's party time over at So Suzy Stamps - we're celebrating their 3rd birthday. I couldn't resist when Suzy asked me to come be a guest designer. Hey, who doesn't love a party? It's a fun month of free shipping on orders over $25 (easy to do, believe you me) and daily deals on stamps. Today, it's all about the ice cream! So, of course, I had to grab mine and make a card with them.

Mmmm, ice cream...now that it's finally warming up around here, I've started eating it again. Yes, I'm one of those people who don't like cold food in the winter. Just keep the coffee coming instead.
