For seeking admission to this program students are required to fulfill the minimum qualification i.e graduation from any recognized university.

Madras University MBA Admission Procedure:


Admission in this programme is done through the entrance test conducted by the university. Admission is the purely basis of merit in the entrance test TANCET (Tamilnadu Common Eligibility Test). This is a paper based common eligibility management test. This management entrance test conducted by Anna university is now compulsory for admission to MBA and MCA programmes.

M.Com is a two year full time post graduate programme consisting of four semesters. This is undoubtedly one of the most popular courses of postgraduate study in the state. Admission to M.Com Course offered by the university is done through a common entrance test.

Eligibility:-

Candidate looking to apply in this program must have anyone of the following bachelor’s degree: -B. Com. / B.B.A. / B.B.M. / B.A.Corporate Secretary ship / B.A. Cooperation / B.A. Business Economics / B. Sc Mathematics with Accountancy and Costing or Banking as Allied / Ancillary subjects or B.Sc. Admission in this university is done on the basis of academic qualification as well as merit in the qualifying examination. The criteria for mark selection is as follows

• Qualifying examination – 50 marks
• Entrance Exam- 40 marks ( 50 per cent weighting of total marks in entrance exam).
• Interview Marks- 10 marks

Part I- 60 Multiple Choice Questions on current affairs related to commerce (60 marks)
