A gift for baby...

Good Morning,

Long time no see! I guess I`ve had my longest blogging break ever...
I`ve been on a couple of trips, and found it so hard to get back into my stamping room!
Anyway, I`ve been visiting beautiful Malta, a small Island in the Mediterranean, and we`ve also been on a trip to exotic Jordan! We had a great time trekking in the Wadi Rum Desert, "floating" in the Dead Sea and diving in the Red Sea - Amazing!

This baby card was made using stamps from Flourishes. The stamp set is called Baby Love. The cute little teddy was colored with colored pencils.

I also want to share these photos from the Wadi Rum Desert. It was absolutely breathtaking to view the sunset here!

Thanks so much for visiting!

CAS - With Love

Hi everyone,

I guess some of you know how much I LOVE Clean And Simple cards, even though I don`t see myself as a CAS - cardmaker! I always enjoy trying something new, and that`s just what I wanted making this card set. Not only are these super quick and easy to create, they are also suitable for mailing because they are neither heavy or bulky in any way :)

Believe it or not, but I actually own a Cricut - machine! I`ve had it for years, but never really used it much. As going through my stash I found this cartridge called Home Accents, and just had to try it:) I also used a nestabilities die to cut out the square. One pearl for each card and a sentiment from Flourishes - and voilà!

I might have to make these in other colors too:)

Sweet Peas for Jan Marie!

Let’s light the candles and strike up the music, the owner of Flourishes – Jan Marie Caruso – is celebrating a birthday and we’re helping her by getting the party started! Hop on over to her place on the web HERE and wish her a Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday Jan Marie!

I used one of my favorite sets, Sweet Peas, for my card, and did the coloring with Distress Inks by Rangers. I tried to make it look like an old polaroid photo, and the Spellbinders dies were perfect for the job:)
I also added some photocorners.

You`re just my cup of tea!

Finally Friday!

When I recieved this cute little tea-cup image from Serendipity Stamps, I knew I wanted to make a tea-bag holder. I don`t drink tea very often since I`m more of a coffee-lover... But this is such a cute little gift for those who loves tea:)

I stamped the image with Archival Ink Coffee, and colored it with Distress Inks. Papers from Making Memories. I also stamped this cute sentiment inside.

Have a wonderful weekend, and thanks so much for stopping by!

You`re Bound to Bloom...

Happy Thursday!

I`m not sure what to call these multi-color flowers... I just knew I needed a little color in between all the white SNOW - LOL! Even though I love white Paperwhites , it had to be something colorful today. I`m longing for spring :)

I stamped and masked the image three times to achieve this flower scene, and did the coloring with Le Plume Markers. I paired the Paperwhites with a sentiment from the
Hearts and Flowers set by Flourishes.

Happy Sunday!

I hope you`ve had a great weekend:) We`ve had a wonderful time skiing. It is so beautiful with all the snow right now, and the temperatures are just perfect.
We have a few birthdays coming up, so I`ve made a card for a friend.
No images on this one, but the focal point is a sentiment from the Fanciful Flourishes set by Flourishes.

As usual I`ve used a few Spellbinders dies too:) - Lacey Squares, Classic Squares, Decorative photo corners and Labels One. Papers from MME.

Thank you!

Happy Wednesday!
I hope your week is going well. I`ve had a few days off this week and actually had some time to make a card! I did step out of my comfort zone with this one, but it was fun for sure! I used Spellbinders dies to create the flower (Flower Creations and On the Vine Border Grand). The sentiment is from the Butterflies and Blossoms stamp set from Flourishes.

BBB-05 - Deck The Halls!

:

For this month’s Bringing Back Beautiful Challenge, use beauty in stamping to create an accent piece for a table, a mantle, a decoration or any kind of home décor. ‘Tis the season for stamping and entertaining –so let’s see if you can create a match made in heaven by using both!

I chose to create place cards for a Christmas table using the gorgeous Poinsetta and Boxwood set. These were really easy to make and can easily be mass produced! I used the In Spades Pendants template by Spellbinders for the base (cut it in half) and the Long Classic Rectangles die. The poinsetta was colored with Distress Inks. I didn`t put any names on them yet, as I plan to use them for a Christmas Dinner:)

I even made a napkin ring to match the place cards... Super easy!

As we unveil our challenge for next month, we’ll share our True Beauties – those card makers who wowed us with this challenge!
