BBB-05 - Deck The Halls!
:
For this month’s Bringing Back Beautiful Challenge, use beauty in stamping to create an accent piece for a table, a mantle, a decoration or any kind of home décor. ‘Tis the season for stamping and entertaining –so let’s see if you can create a match made in heaven by using both!
I chose to create place cards for a Christmas table using the gorgeous Poinsetta and Boxwood set. These were really easy to make and can easily be mass produced! I used the In Spades Pendants template by Spellbinders for the base (cut it in half) and the Long Classic Rectangles die. The poinsetta was colored with Distress Inks. I didn`t put any names on them yet, as I plan to use them for a Christmas Dinner:)
I even made a napkin ring to match the place cards... Super easy!

Rustic Beauty!
Welcome to the Bring Back Beautiful challenge for September!
As the leaves start to change colors to usher in fall, we want to see your rustic beauty. Interpret this challenge however you like – want to use a little distressing? Want to use shades of rust? Want to use things that look aged or antiqued? You choose! Just make sure the end result has a rustic feel to it!
I chose to create a set of tiny cards for this challenge. I just love to make tiny cards! I used the Cherry Blossoms stamp set, and did the coloring with Rangers Distress Ink.
To give them a rustic feel, I used Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles. I also did a lot of sponging and some hand-stitching to finish them off.
